Who am I?

My name is Momin KHAN, I am 21 Years old and even though I would love to say many things to my parents, my siblings, especially my mother but I, unfortunately cannot find the words or sentences to do so.

I was born normal alhamdulillah and then at the age of 1.8 Years I started getting seizures and then at the age of 4.5 I lost my speech which was the time I was diagnosed with a Disorder called Autism.

There are many kinds autisms but the one I have is called Mild Autism and guess what, my father also apparently had autism and still has some autistic features but in the previous times, there was no such thing as Autism, it was just some slow kids, some kids who were mediocre and some who were fast and smarter..

Now since we are becoming advanced day by day we keep coming up with different versions and names of problems that our kids have for the strange behavior they put up or show.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying we should not or do not need to attend to the problems the kids might have, but what I am merely saying is that KIDS like ME first need acceptance by everyone around us more than anything else.

Unfortunately, and I am rather sorry to say this, but the people who look at kids or people like us as if something is wrong with us, are the ones with the actual problem. Problem of called NORMAL and not being able to understand that everyone of us have our own issues, defects and qualities.
